Situated on the Island of Solarte in the Archipelago of Bocas del Toro, lies the beautiful Segunda Brisa. Spanish for “Second Wind”, this amazing property is suited for those searching for real peace and relaxation. Only a 12 minute boat ride from Bocas Town, dolphins are commonly seen lazily passing by our private dock, as are sloths and a myriad of tropical birds. Completely surrounded by rainforest, adventure is only steps away at all times. Perhaps it’s time you found your Second Wind? 
THE HOUSE 
:
The main living area is quite large and incredibly open in terms of space and ceiling height. Two large ceiling fans keep the air moving if needed, although the beautiful breezes manage that quite nicely. There's a wonderful spacious kitchen, nicely equipped as well as Solar friendly washing machine. Clothes are placed outside on the line for quick sun-dry and natural airfreshener.
Upstairs is a large loft with a double bed on one side of the room and single bed on the other, as well as a back terrace that faces the jungle. Whether you desire to book one of the KING SUITES which sleeps 2 people, or need the entire accommodations for up to 5, you will never be sharing Segunda Brisa with strangers. We do not accept other reservations when we have a King Suite rented out. The only person on site would be the owner operator.
THE KING SUITE:
Below in the main living area are the two doors leading to the two semi attached king suites, both ocean views, featuring King sized beds, front window shutters with screening, allowing for the amazing views and breezes to continue. And yes, a large ceiling fan to keep you cool, just in case. There's also a private washroom and shower in both the king suites. Both the hot and cold water are a wonderful treat.

Return transportation from Bocas Airport to Isla Solarte is also included. Daily water taxi service available to and from Bocas Town as well as Old Bank.
Any personal tours you'd be interested in, can all be arranged on Segunda Brisa. We also have our own boat, which means if you care to go on a tour, it would be 100% private, yet the price would be the same or less than the public tours, where you could be on a boat with 20 other people on the same tour.
GUEST INTERACTION:
As your host, I will be available on demand, but believe most visitors want to simply enjoy their stay and their privacy.
This is a very simple property, and keeping it simple for you is my highest priority. I will be on site, ready to serve at what ever capacity that's needed. I also will be at the Airport to meet you, as well as provide you with transportation to Segunda Brisa, approximately 12 minute boat ride from Bocas Town.
GUEST ACCESS:
The entire property is accessible to our guests. The main bodega contains the Solar system, this would be the only place restricted to Segunda Brisa caretaker only.
Other things to note:
Because Segunda Brisa is completely off grid, power is a very valuable commodity, as is fresh water. Each room is provided with special solar friendly ceiling fans to keep you comfortable.
